VC and officer duties




King and Queen



The King and Queen share the responsibility of the daily running of the alliance.



Head Knight



1. Head Knight is responsible for settling disputes between All other Knights and Officer

2. He/She will also be the main adviser To the King and Queen.

3. If the king and Queen are not on line He or She will assume command.

4. he or she will also be able to make decisions if the king or queen is off line or if a knight and his or her officer is off line he/She will have the authority To step into that position in an emergency.




War Knight




The war chief is responsible for over seeing the war counsel in the absence of the Chancellor. He/she has the authority to call for a vote in the war counsel. During time of war this person is to help organize attacks and defenses of cities and wilds. this person will also be a moderator of our battle chat (aka office). during peace time this person is to monitor all reports under the alliance tab to make sure no one is being farmed and report to the chancellor.



Alchemist




The Alchemist position is simple he/she is responsible for researching koc game play tips and tricks and keeping the forums tips and tricks section up to date. Also is responsible for the upkeep of the forum. He/she will also post daily game play tips in koc messages. but any major changes to the forum must go threw the chancellor first.



liaison Knight



the duties of the liaison is simple this lord or lady will assist the chancellor with diplomacy between other alliances and also help settle disputes between members of this alliance. This person should be well versed in all other positions duties. this is a Vice Chancellor position that requires a cool head and the ability to bs some times lol .


Recruiter



This Lord or Lady is responsible for all new recruits into the alliance he/she will recruit from leader board and off general map. He/she will also be responsible for giving new members the rules, telling them about this forum, and also teach them how to get into battle chat. this person will also watch for in-actives and recruit to replace the in-actives. when a member becomes in-active for more then one month with out informing the chancellor or a Knight that they will be off line for an extended period of time. At that time he/she will inform the King and Queen of the inactivity. The last duty of this person is to do periodic role calls. Then report the results to the King or Queen.


Marshal




PEACETIME DUTIES
1. You will approve active player city attacks. Non active/non alliance farms may be done without approval as always.
***** You will check the alliance (if any), and make certain that it is a small one.*****
*****that its members are not much more than one million in might.*****
*****That it is not a sister alliance to one of the larger ones*****
*****you will then check to make sure that the target does not have other members of his/her alliance closer to them, than your attacker, so as to get reinforced.*****
*****You will use your own judgement to review/assist the initial attacks of our members to prevent the loss of their armies, until you are satisfied that they are fully trained in conducting a successful attack. After which, you need only review and approve their future targets.

2. You will check alliance reports, and give combat training/advise as needed. For example, when you see that a member has suffered extreme loss due to sending wrong troop type, sending entire army when only wagons are needed ect. Pretty much anything that indicates that this member may need combat assistance. This may be as simple as sending them the guide, or refering them to the forum. Basically, make sure everyone knows what their doing when it comes to an attack situation. You are the Combat Guy, get your team ready for war.*****

3. When online, you will be in charge of organizing and coordinating all reinforcement efforts, including sleep overs...... When at all possible, even though resources have been moved, we want to reinforce, and defend that city. It is our intention to send the farmer home without his army! However, we do not want to do this with heavy losses to ourselves as a price tag, so make sure that you have more than enough troops to get the job done, and that they will arrive in time. Our Combat VC will have demonstrated his/her ability to succeed at this at least 90% of the time.

4. You, as a member of the war council, will vote along with your fellow Knights on all matters pertaining to war related issues.

5. You will be responsible for settling disputes between members of this alliance as to relieve the stress of petty differences from the King and Queen

DURING A WAR

1. You will fight along side your people when you are online, and the situation merits it.

2. You will direct your fighter teams to the battle chat channel and assist where needed, to ensure the timing test is completed correctly, and the mission a success.

3. You will assist with the reinforcement effort whenever you are online.









Foreman:



It IS NOT THE JOB OF THE FOREMAN TO HARASS PLAYERS ABOUT THEIR MIGHT, OR TO PLACE MIGHT GROWTH DEMANDS UPON THEM!

The might officers job is to assist all members in learning how to both grow and preserve their might, and to compile data to assist the other command team members to better do their jobs, while preserving the might of the alliance as a whole .... His/her duties include:
1. Reviewing the members list on a daily basis, and taking note of the hierarchy of the group as a whole. Pretty much a who follows who thing' what order are they in and on what page....Are they coming along nicely? Are they being left in the dust? Have they taken a giant leap backwards? Do they still only have one city?
Your job will be to monitor their progress, and investigate (at times by using the alliance attack reports) any issues that they may be having. Talk to them, get to know them, help them learn and grow.

2. You will also review the alliance's standing on the lists. Noting where we stand in conjunction with the alliances both above and below us. How far away are we from the next spot? How soon will the guy behind us pass us? This information may be required of you by the war council, when attempting to determine if we can successfully hold our position during a war. It serves a very important purpose.

3. You will take note of our combined alliance might each day as well (from the lists), and monitor our progress and growth. Do we show steady growth? Have we taken a leap back words? These findings are good early warning signs that our balance ratio may be off, either due to inactive, unaddressed farming issues, or a higher might party wiping his/her entire army. You will investigate, and forward your findings to the appropriate officer or VC.

4. You will work closely with the Recruiting Knight, and the to appropriately time any planned cuts that may be necessary on their part.

5. Come up with might challenges and execute the challenges and in form the propper authority to award there winnings.






Steward:




The Steward both trains and assists members to become self sufficient in resource management, with the alliance as a whole in mind. They teach wilds taking, transporting to and from wilds, and between cities, farming, market usage, ect....... It is their job to make sure that the alliance supply chain has its xtra,(key word xtra) resources used by "the" alliance, and doesn't pile up merely to be farmed by other players....During peacetime, this can be accomplished in part, by all the excess being shipped out to other members of the alliance that are closest to one million in might....This is to be done only after that player has their own sizeable army, and full wall and field defenses....When we are at peace, even fighters are expected to fend for themselves... We just dont want our suppliers to make for excellent farms....So too, this assists us with might and army growth as a whole, so if they arent going to use or store it in wilds, get it sent to the others!!!....During war times, it is packed on wagons and sent to wilds, until needed by their two fighters.....

The Resource officer duties include:

1. Become familiar with the members list, and their cities. Take note of which members are closest to the million might mark, and locate their cords. These people will receive the excess resources from your supply level members.

2. Review the alliance reports daily to ensure that all members are farming on at least some level. Assist those that aren't, by keying their cords into the map view, going to their neighborhood, and assisting them in the building of a good bookmarked farm list.

3. Periodically offer assistance to all members in locating good wilds. But first and foremost, work closely with all supply level members to ensure that their wilds are both upgraded, and protected.

4. Maintain a list of all supply level members, and which method they are using for resource growth and storage, and which two fighters they need to supply during a war. Assist them with training if need be.

5. During peacetime, work with the supply level members to use up, store in wilds, or send out all resources on a daily basis. Keep those cities dried up of all resources! 100 wagons hold 1 million resource. lol! lol!
